Ora como eu adoro a rapariga (e pelos vistos o sentimento é +- reciproco - eu ando aqui caladinha mas eu bem o número ali dos seguidores a aumentar depois de ela dizer que adorava ler aqui o chips (e eu a babar de   orgulhoooo x) x)) - também vou dizer 7 factos aleatórios sobre mim onde 3 deles são mentira! :P

Now as I love that girl (and apparently the feeling is + - reciprocal - I've been here with my mouth shut watching the number of my blog followers rising after she said she loved to read Chips here :D (look at me so prouuuuuud!!! x) x)) - I'll also say 7 random facts about me where 3 of them are a lie! :P

Tinha de vos vir contar a última do meu pai!

No outro dia o meu pai fez-me massa com tomate - que eu sou louca louca por aquilo!!!! E se estiver mesmo bom como só massa com tomate, não como absolutamente mais nada (para verem a panca!!)

I had to come tell you the last brilliant situation with my father!

The other day my dad made ​​me pasta with tomato - I'm absolutely crazy for it!! And if it's really good I only eat pasta with tomato I add absolutely nothing!

Então estou eu muito bem a comer a massa com tomate feita pelo meu paizinho quando o ouço a dizer à minha mãe: "Estou a gostar de a ver!... Ainda nem foi buscar legumes!!!:D" 

Pois.... Primeiro pai no mundo a ficar genuinamente feliz por a filha não adicionar legumes ao prato que está a comer!

O "não ser muito bom da cabeça" é portanto de família e não havia salvação possível para mim! ;)

Well .... First parent in the world to be genuinely happy for her daughter not adding vegetables to the dish she's eating!

H&M pants... fail :S

Desculpem a ausência minha gente querida, mas entre esta semana e a próxima as coisas vão voltar ao normal e com isto também as minhas visitas aos vossos cantinhos! ;)

Para já quero-vos falar da h&m (a minha marca fast-fashion preferida) e o porquê de estar meia chateada com ela!

Sorry for the absence my dears, but between this and next week things will get back to normal and with it also my visits to your corners! ;)

For now I want to talk to you about  H&M (my favorite fast-fashion brand) and why I'm kind-of-mad with it!

Para além de achar ridículas as quantidades de peças que chegam a Lisboa das colecções limitadas (tornando-as estupidamente limitadas e restritas - Marni e mais recentemente Fashion Against Aids) sempre confiei na qualidade das peças.

Como sabem estou num desafio de 5 meses sem compras (2 já foram!) com o único aparte de poder comprar calças - não tenho suficientes e decentes, o meu par preferido rasgou-se há umas semanas blablabla e a principal razão: odeio comprar calças por isso nunca iria substituir uma compra de bijuteira, tops, vestidos por um par de calças (meaning, comprar calças não me desperta o bichinho consumidor!) e trouxe estas da H&M por 19.95€.

Besides finding ridiculous the quantities of piecess that arrive in Lisbon of their limited collections (making them stupidly limited and restricted - Marniand more recently Fashion Against AIDS) I always trusted their pieces quality.

As you know I'm in a challenge of five months without shopping (2 gone already!) with the only exception of being able to buy pants - I don't have enough and decent pairs, my favorite pair ripped a few weeks ago (and blablabla) and the main reason is: I hate buying pants so it would never awake my extreme consumer behaviors! xD) and brought these from H&M for €19.95.

Acho-as giríssimas e foram as únicas calças com a cinta subida e um pouco largas que não me faziam ancas de 3metros de largura (que nem é uma área que muito e tira muito o sono) maaaaaaaaaaaaas

I find them really cute and were the only pants high waist and slightly wider that didn't make my hips look ​​3m width ( and this is not an area that takes my sleep away) buuuuuuuuuuuuuut

Problema 1

As ancas não me tiram o sono mas as coxas sim!xD Todas as mulheres têm uma zona com a qual se sentem menos confortáveis e eu para não me lembrar a cada passo da minha, comprei as calças um número acima só para que não ficassem ali numa zona complicada... Conclusão: a minha máquina fotográfica quase cabe no espaço que fica entre a minha cintura e as calças (vejam o tamanho da máquina aqui!)

Problema 2

Feita burrinha não prestei atenção à composição do tecido e pensei que fosse um linho mais barato (e que o   seu toque duro iria desaparecer mal as lavasse!)... Conclusão: não comprem misturas de linho com algodão (agora fui ver a composição exacta!)!! Só as usei ontem e já vi que não vão durar muito porque com só um dia de uso já começaram a formar-se borbotos na zona de entre-pernas. 

Enfim, não posso comprar coisas, estou ainda muito mais criteriosa onde gasto o meu dinheiro e apesar de 19.95€ não parecer muito dinheiro acaba por ser, se pensarmos que são umas calças quase descartáveis!

Estou mesmo chateada, e achei melhor avisar-vos para não repetirem os meus erros! ;)

Problem 1

I'm not scarred by my hips but the same we can't say about thighs! xD All women have an area with which they feel less comfortable with and in an attempt to not always think about my area I bought a number above of my usual number ... Conclusion: I can almost fit my camera bag in the space that lies between my waist and the pants (see the size of the machine here!)

Problem 2

Stupidly I didn't pay attention to the composition of the fabric and thought it was a cheaper kind of linen (and that his hard touch would softer when washed!) ... Conclusion: don't buy linen blends with cotton (The exact composition!-.-')!  I only wore it this saturday and I can already tell you they won't last long because with only one day of use it already started to form lint in the crotch area.

Anyway, I can't buy things, I'm much more careful where I spend my money and despite €19.95 not seem like a lot of money it ends up being, if we think they are almost disposable pants!

I'm really upset, and I thought I better warn you so you don't repeat my mistakes! ;)

My new courses! Fashion all the way :)

Então as meninas querem é saber do curso... ;P Então como bónus vou-vos falar dos 2 que estou a tirar agora ao mesmo tempo! ;P

Tanto o curso de Consultoria de Imagem como o de Costura são em horário pós-laboral e com tantos dias que a semana tem eles tiveram de se amontoar. Começaram +- na mesma altura vão ter +- a mesma duração e com  exactamente o mesmo horário. Já viram o meu karma? Tanto tempo livre e mesmo assim há uma aula de consultoria que perco!

So the girls want to know is about my image consultant course ... ;P So as a bonus I'll talk to about both courses I'm taking at the same time! ;P

Both the Image consulting course as well as the sewing one  are in after work hours, and with so many days in the weeks they had to pile. They start +- at the same time, will have + - the same duration and both start at the same hour. Have you seen my karma? So much free time and yet there is a class of image consultant I always miss!

 Mas não se preocupem minhas futuras clientes (;P), eu aprendo tudo na mesma! :D Vendo os ppt das aulas e depois tirando dúvidas com a Dora, a professora. E isto leva-me à escola onde estou a tirar o curso: a Blossom, já tinham ouvido falar? 

Eu encontrei uma vez o blog da Blossom por acaso e foi através dele que fiz o workshop de ilustração de moda há +- 1 ano, conheci a Dora (e a Adelaide que na altura era aluna dela) e simpatizei logo (com ambas, óbvio!!) mas também com a Blossom - a criação da Dora :D - que depois de uma investigação sobre as escolas que ofereciam o curso de consultoria continuou a ser a que me transmitiu mais segurança, prestigio, bom ambiente e mais uma série de outras coisas boas, e estou a adorar.

8 mulheres a falarem de moda e beleza durante 3horas, estamos a brincar? É claro que estou a adorar! É que mesmo nos "intervalos" o bom ambiente gera troca de ideias, dicas... é giro!:D E sou a benjamim da turma!:)

But do not worry my future customers (;P), I learn all anyway! :D 

This leads me to the school where I am taking the course: Blossom, have you heard?

I once found Blossom's blog by accident and it was through it that I did the workshop of fashion illustration last year, and met Dora and also Adelaide (who was Dora's student  :D) that after an investigation of the schools that offer the course Blossom was still the one that gave me more sense of security, prestige, good environment and a lot of other good things, and I love it.

8 women talking about fashion and beauty for 3 hours, are you kidding? Of course, I love it! Is that even in the breaks the good atmosphere generates exchange of ideas, tips ... is so cute :D

Até agora tivemos uma introdução à consultoria para sabermos o que esperar do curso, os do's and dont's da profissão, e agora um módulo de cultura de moda e os vários estilos existentes (daí a imagem do polyvore no outro dia - homework!:D)  - o módulo de cultura da moda é que me abriu o apetite para saber mais especialmente em relação ás grandes casas da moda (quem comprou o quê, quem pertencem a quem, que designers saltaram para onde e quando...)

Until now we had an introduction to what a consultant do, to know what to expect of the course, do's and dont's of the profession, and now a module fashion culture and the various existing styles - the module on fashion culture opened my appetite to learn about the major fashion houses (who bought what, who owns whom, which designers jumped to where and when ...)

Quanto ao de costura já começo a dominar a máquina de costura (a industrial, não a minha!!) e está a ser tão engraçado ter num dia aprender o que vestir e no outro a seguir tentar perceber como é que foi feito!

Estou finalmente a deixar de achar que a costura não é um bicho tão grande como eu o andava a pintar, agora vou ter é de confiar nas minhas mãozinhas para dar forma aos tecidos! - Lembram-se de eu dizer que me perdia a comprar tecidos no mercado em Amesterdão? Pois, gosto tanto deles que não os quero estragar!xD mas com este curso esse vício vai acabar (o de não fazer nada aos tecidos, i mean)

As for sewing one I'm already beginning to dominate the sewing machine (the industrial one, not mine!) and is has been so funny to learn what to wear on one day and in the next trying to figure out how it was done!

I'm finally starting to think that building clothes is not the monster I've been painting, now I will just have to trust in my little hands to give form to the fabrics! - Remember I said that I  was always buying fabrics on the market in Amsterdam? Well, I like them so much I don't want to ruin them! xD but this course will end this addiction (to do nothing to tissues, i mean)

I will give news of both courses , I promise! ;)
