New decor!

Eu juro, juro que tentei tudo para a porcarias das fotos ficarem na vertical... Mas como vão ver não fui bem sucedida... Virem o ecran, é a solução da foto!

Desculpem o estar ao contrário (culpa do blogger!) e pela desarrumação (culpa minha) -  isto foi segundos antes de começar a muda-lo! ;)
Sorry for the photo being upside down (blogger's fault!) and for the mess (my fault!) - this was seconds before I started changing it! ;)

O mobília do quarto é (era) constituída por um estúdio com cama (e gaveta com cama), secretária e armário brancos. 

Aparte dos problemas que tenho com a cama: ela é cabeçadas, é estreita... Estava-me a fazer muita confusão o quarto tão branco :S sinceramente nunca pensei porque adoro todas as fotos de casas em tons de branco mas ao que parece só gosto em fotografia, para eu viver - e numa altura que ando mais em baixo e preciso de injecções de energia - cor é o que preciso. 

The bedroom furniture was a studio with a bed (and another bed under it!), a desk and a closet, all in white.

Apart from the problems I have with the bed I was getting really anxious with the white room :S honestly I never thought i would because I love all the photos of houses in shades of white but it seems I just like it in photos, for me actually live there - and in a time I'm more down and in need of energy injection - I need color!

Então força para o IKEA! ;)

E pronto, com uma mesa de jardim, um pedaço de tecido e um espelho já adoro o meu quarto (tirando a cama!xD)

O que acharam?

So that's it! With a garden table, a piece of fabric and a mirror and I passed from hating to loving my room (except the bed! xD)

Já agora, o que acham que posso pôr neste frasquinho? É mesmo pequenino (têm ali os óculos de sol para terem uma noção...), já pensei pôr pinceis mas assim não podia usar a tampa... mas qualquer sugestão é bem-vinda! ;)

By the way, what do you think I can put in this little bottle? It's really tiny (look at the sunglasses to have an idea of it's size ...), I've thought on putting some brushes but then I couldn't use the cover ... But any suggestion is welcome! ;)

E se ontem dormi melhor por causa da decoração hoje vou ficar a pensar nos vossos pescoços! :P
And if yesterday I sleeped better because of the new decoration tonight I will think about your necks! :S :P

Warning!

Estou às voltas com o post na nova decoração de uma parte do meu quarto! Quero já vos avisar que podem ter um torcicolo-zinho à conta do blogger que teimou que não quer por as imagens na vertical (que são as que se vê melhor!)

Vou portanto pô-las todas seguidas para não terem de estar a abanar a cabeça... Virem durante um bocadinho o ecran e está feito!

Alguém sabe que alternativas temos para não termos de andar à mercê do humor do blogger? =/

I'm struggling with the post of my new room's decoration! I now warn you that you may get a stiff neck because of blogger who insisted on not putting every image in horizontal! -.-'

I've putted them all in a row so that you don't have to be shaking your head all the time... Turn the screen for a bit and you're done!

Does anyone know what alternatives we have for not having to live at the mercy of the blogger's mood? =/

Estou aqui com um dúvida existencial... 

Será que isto resulta em alguma coisa (boa)???

É que super giro para se fazer mas parece-me algo que possa correr muito muito mal!....O que acham?!xD

Meat Free Monday - eggplant rolls!

Hoje a receita meat free é com beringelas!

Today our meat free recipe is with eggplant!

Adoro beringelas! São muito muito versáteis tem um sabor óptimo com poucas calorias! ;)

Outro ingrediente que eu me esforço por ter em casa para "emergências" são latinhas com legumes, uma delas é esta de Macedónia de legumes (estas da Bonduelle são carotas mas há supermercados com outras marcas e igualmente boas e saborosas!). O bom destes legumes é que para além do sabor ser bom não se estragam tão rápidamente o que convenhamos dá muuuuito jeito! (Eu tanto gosto deles cozinhados ou só lavados e directamente para a salada!)

I love eggplant! It's very versatile, has a great flavor with very few calories! ;)

Another ingredient that I strive to have at home for "emergencies" are cans of vegetables, like this is one of Macedonia vegetables (these are from Bonduelle and a bit expensive but there are supermarkets with other brands and also very good!). The good thing is that these vegetables in addition to have a great taste doesn't spoil so quickly which is wonderfull! (I like them either cooked or only washed and directly to the salad!)

Rolos de beringela!

Eggplant rolls!

O primeiro passo é cortar a beringela em tiras para que fiquem assim:

The first step is to cut the eggplant into strips to make them like this:

Depois polvilhem com sal e deixem um bocado para retirar a acidez. Passado uns 5/10minutos passem 

as tiras por água (não quero ninguém envenenado com sal em excesso!  ;P)

Enquanto o sal está a actuar nas beringelas ponham um pimento a cozer em água: isto vai pô-lo mais molinho e fácil de digerir, mas não ponham em demasiada água nem por demasiado tempo para ele não perder sabor nem propriedades. 

Then sprinkle it with salt and leave it a bit to remove it's acidity. After 5/minutes pass the

strips for water (I don't want anyone poisoned with too much salt! ;P)

While the salt is acting in the eggplant, put the pepper cooking in water: this will make it softer and easier to digest, but don't put in too much water or for too long so that it doesn't loose its taste or its properties.

Agora a parte engraçada, montar!:D

Eu passei um bocadinho (mesmo pouquinho!) de azeite pelas fatias de beringela e depois coloquei um pedaço de pimento, um bocado da macedónia de legumes, cebola, o queijo e juntei um bocado de alho picado (de frasco :$), oregãos, tomilho e pimenta!

Em alguns dos rolos acrescentei umas gotinhas de molho Maggi (que se calhar não conhecem mas eu acho essencial para molhos de salada e dá um sabor tão bom!- se estiverem de pé atrás digam que posso falar mais dele e dos seus mil usos!)

Agora enrolar é engraçado mas também complicado porque sai tudo por todo o lado por isso ponham pouca quantidade, enrolem e lembrem-se ter palitos por perto (eu usei esparguete, desenrascou mas muitos dos rolinhos desfizeram-se (obviamente sara -.-'!)

Now the funny part, put it together!: D

I spent a bit (a really small bit!) of oil by the eggplant slices and then put a piece of pepper, a bit of Macedonian vegetables, onion, cheese and gathered a bit of chopped garlic (from jar :$), oregano, thyme and pepper!

In some of the rolls I added a few drops of Maggi sauce and those were the best, so there's the tip! ;P

Now wrapping it is funny but also tricky because it goes everywhere so put a small amount, curl it and remember to have sticks around (I used spaghetti, but many rolls crumbled (obviously sara -. - '! )

(As duas metades ali não dobradas são as pontas da beringela que estavam a ser muito dificeis de enrolar então ficaram assim mesmo!)

(Those 2 parts over there not folded are the extremes of the eggplant that were being very difficult to roll so I left them like that!)

Pincelem com um ovo batido e ala com tudo para o forno durante uns 15 minutos a temperatura média-baixa! 

Retirem e polvilhem com umas sementes de sésamo e já está!:D

Swab a beaten egg and put everything in the oven for about 15 minutes on medium-low temperature!

Remove and sprinkle with sesame seeds and it's done! :D

Uma das muitas ideias para alteração de roupa que tenho é alterar uma das muitas parkas (quase iguais entre si!) em algo semelhante a isto:

One of the many ideas I have to change the clothes that I have is to turn one of the many parkas I own (very similar to each other!) in to something like this:

Visto que Lisboa me anda a pregar partidas e até com chuva tenho de apanhar acho que faz todo o sentido esta alteração! 

E este trench da Burberry é qualquer coisa não acham???;D

As Lisbon is tricking me and even rain I got, I think this change makes absolute sense!

And this Burberry trench is something awesome don't you think??;D
