Food imagination - do you have it?

Assim como faço para a roupa, também para inventar receitas (nomeadamente as do Meat Free Monday que esta semana não houve! :$ ) procuro imagens da net e blogosfera para me ajudarem a inspirar!:D

Normalmente quando vejo uma imagem de uma prato mesmo yamyyy tento encontrar combinações que resultem no prato que está à minha frente, depois é só acertar temperos. 

Vejam alguns destes exemplos, e espero que vos ajude a não comer sempre a mesma coisa e abrir a criatividade também para o que comem!

As I do for clothes I also look  for images on the internt and blogs to help me inspire for some recipes (including the Meat Free Monday that failed this week! :$).

Usually when I see a picture of a really yamyyy dish I try to find combinations that result in the dish ahead of me, then it's just hit the right seasoning.

Look at some of these examples, and hopefully I can help you to not eat the same thing and open your creativity also to what you eat!

Este por exemplo para mim é: cogumelos estufados com pimentos e tomatos assados com lentilhas e queijo creme numa folha de alface e pão pita! 

This one for example for me is: mushrooms, peppers and roasted tomatoes with lentils and cream cheese in lettuce and pita bread! 

Este: pão focaccia com requeijão, morangos e ... salsa fresca (???)

E vinho branco para a coisa fazer sentido! xD

This one: focaccia bread with cottage cheese, strawberries and ... fresh parsley (???)

And white wine to give all this some sense! xD

Temos ali duas torradas meias rusticas com manteiga e a acompanhar eu diria um pouco de massa (esquecida do jantar) com tomate picado e refogado com alho e um ovo escalfado!

Confort food!! ;)

Here we have two slightly rustic toasts with butter next to what I would say a bit of pasta (from last night dinner) with chopped tomatoes sauteed in garlic and a scrambled egg!

Tomate no forno com lentilhas (ponham feijão preto vá!)  e quando me parece que há para ali carne no meio, puffas, um pedacinho de seitan com queijo ricota em cima e uns coentros e estamos despachados! :)

Tomatoes roasted in the oven with lentils (ok, put black beans instead!) and every time the photos appears to have some sort of meat, bam! a slice of seitan with ricotta cheese on top and some coriander and we're done! ;)

Oh, este já faço há anos e adoro!:D

Latinha de grão de bico com espinafres cozidos!

(Azeite e alho para um bocado de mais sabor!)

Can of chickpea with cooked spinach! 

(olive oil and garlic for more taste!)

Pão tostado ou torrado com "molho" de feijão manteiga e cenoura. Polvilhado com salsa ou oregãos frescos e ovo escalfado (ou frito) em cima! ;)

Toasted bread with white beans and carrots "sauce". Sprinkled with fresh parsley or oregano and a poached (or fried) egg on top! ;)

Double cuffs- DIY

Como menina mais que viciada em DIY e estando neste momento privada por 5 meses (já 4 e meio - mas more on that later!;P) não podia deixar de partilhar este último DIY da Jenni do I spy DIY!

As a more than addicted to DIY and now private of shopping  for 5 months (now four and a half - but more on that later! ;p) I couldn't not share Jenni's latest DIY!

Upclothing ideas - Pretty in Pink jacket new ideas!

Ora vou parar um pouco com a Moda Lisboa porque mesmo eu estando lá e não tendo acompanhado se calhar todoo buzz blogosférico à volta disso imagino que já não possam com Moda Lisboa à frente!

Vou vos dar uns posts de descanso e voltar a este assunto aqui!

I'll take a break with the Moda Lisboa posts because even though I was there and maybe not having followed all the buzz around it, I already can imagine that at least the girls from Portugal are tired of it!

I'll give you all a few posts of rest and return to this subject here, don't worrie!

Como vos tinha dito aqui a Pretty in Pink enviou-me uma foto de um casaco de ganga que já não dava uso e pediu-me algumas sugestões de como o tornar diferente para ser lhe estendia a vida útil.

Então cá vão as minhas primeiras sugestões (isto porque se ela não ficar totalmente convencida com nenhuma das duas não me vou dar por vencida!) 

As I had said to you here, Pretty in Pink has sent me a photo of a denim jacket that she no longer used and asked me some suggestions on how to make it look different so that she could wear it without having the feeling of wearing an outdated item.

So here go my first suggestions (because if she is not entirely satisfied with any of the two I will not give up so easily!)

No primeiro diagnóstico que lhe fiz vi dois pontos que (se calhar como à Pink) faziam com que achasse o casaco já fora de moda:

1. a cor clara e quase listrada - foi um grande hit quando eramos miúdas e na década de 90 e 00, mas agora  já começamos a torcer o nariz, enfim somos mais "crescidas" .

o ponto 2. a meu ver são os acrescentos cor de rosa. Não, não é por ser cor de rosa Pink, mas porque há anos também tive um do género (deixou de servir) e se o tivesse agora apesar de até achar prático não ia achar muita piada sair com ele à rua. 

Ora portanto e com base nisto vamos às minhas ideias e sejam meiguinhas com os desenhos!:S :$ no entanto se se lembrarem de outras chutem!!!;D

In a first diagnosis I saw two key points that gave me the feeling (and maybe also to Pink) the coat already out of fashion:

1. the light color - was a big hit when we were girls and the 90 and 00 but now we begin turning our noses at it, well everybody has to grow!

Point 2. I think, additions in pink! No, not because it is pink Pink, but because for years I also had one like that and if I had to go out with it now i'm not sure I would be thrilled.

Now therefore and based on this, these are my ideas and please be gentel with my drawing skills!!1 :$ ;P however if you have any other idea just shoot it! ;D

Basicamente para começar as minhas 2 ideias são de coletes, como tal, braços fora e claro, retirar o colarinho...

Basically my ideas are of two vests, as such, arms out and obviously, remove the pink collar...

Ideia 1 (e minha preferida!)

1st idea (and my personal favourite!)

Para este a minha inspiração foi o rock&roll mas numa versão mais elegante, clássica e vá, calma, que é o que Pink me parece ser! ;)

For this one my inspiration was rock&roll  but a more elegant and classic, calmer version of it which is what I think Pink is! ;)

- tingir de branco (esta parte é o que pode deitar a ideia por água abaixo por causa da composição! Mas há sempre a hipótese de o mergulhar em lixívia!) 

- no colarinho onde estava a parte rosa colacar um capucho de cetim preto: ok, pode não ser exactamente cetim mas não me totalmente mal, o objectivo é dar algum "edge", modernidade e irreverência ao colete.

Lembrei-me deste na H&M quando tive a ideia:

- Dyed white (this part is what can throw the idea out the window because of the jacket's composition! But there is always the possibility of dipping it in bleach!)

- Where the collar was put a satin black hood: ok, it can be other fabric than satin, the aim is to give some "edge", modernity and irreverence to the vest.

I was reminded of this one from H&M when I had the idea:

A inspiração para este veio do estilo mais romântico, naïve e se calhar hippie até!

The inspiration for this one came from a most romantic, naïve and maybe even hippie style!

E é claramente o mais fácil de fazer. 

- deixar a parte do colarinho semi-desfiada

- colar aplicações de renda 

Acho que fica uma peça ideal para o verão por cima de um vestido qualquer, seja ele comprido, curto, estampado ou liso.

Então, que tal este primeiro assalto? Gostam de alguma das propostas ou vamos fazer aqui um pequeno brain-storm? ;)

And it's clearly easier to do.

- Leave the collar semi-shredded

- Paste some lace applications

I think this one is perfect for summer over some dress: long, short, plain or with pattern.

So how about this first round? Like some of the proposals or will wee do a little brainstorm here? ;)

Lisbon FW - day 2 Ricardo Preto

O último do 2º dia foi o meu "adorado" Ricardo Preto!

Adorei as últimas colecções dele e identificava-me perfeitamente com o estilo e estava ansiosa para ver esta colecção. Mais um vez não fiquei desiludida e (falando novamente da forma do desfile!) até houve mudanças no decor da sala!

A colecção foi inspirada no "agora" e no futuro e pessoalmente prendeu-me com os cortes classicos e bem estruturados, os plissados, os tons terra, as malhas... enfim! Era tirar à manequim e levar para casa!

E os cabelos como rastas apanhados em cima também me fizeram sorrir!:D

E os sapatos?! Só pensei: que comprou aquelas Litas versão Modalfa deve estar agora muito feliz!:D

The last of the 2nd day was my "beloved" Ricardo Preto!

I loved his last collections and identified myself with it perfectly and was eager to see this collection. Once again I was not disappointed!

The collection was inspired by the "now" and in the future, but it personally held me with the classic and well-structured cuts, ruffles, earth tones, the meshes ... well, everything!! Those tip of pieces you just want to stop the model, take her clothes and go home!:D

And trehair like dreadlocks caught up also made ​​me smile  :D

And the shoes?! I just thought: those who bought Modalfa's version of JC Litas must be very happy right now! ;P
