Depois do Natal quatro loucas partiram à busca de preços baixos e roupinhas bonitas!

Essas 4 loucas eram mãe e filha, tia e prima. 4 mulheres que quando juntas não há como não haver danos colaterais (meaning muito muito riso e kilos de gargalhadas!)

Em primeiro lugar a minha prima teve de andar colada a mim na Primark! Nunca uma loja me faz sentir tão perdida e overwhellmed como a primark! - Verdade seja dita, não sei se foi pela prim"inha" ao lado ou se é só a de Lisboa que me faz perder o norte, mas desta vez a ia correu bastante bem!

After Christmas four crazy girls departed in search of low prices and beautiful outfits!
These four were crazy mother and daughter, aunt and cousin. 4 women that when together there is no way there is no collateral damage (meaning very much laughter and kilos of laughter!)

First I glued my cousin to me at Primark! Never a store makes me feel so lost and overwhellmed like primark! - Truth being told, I don't know if it was the "little" cousin or if that feeling only happens in Lisbon this time it went very well!!

Estas biker boots logo no dia a seguir apanharam logo uma camada de graxa preta! Agora estão pretinhas pretinhas como umas biker boots devem ser!

(não estou apaixonada por elas mas adoro-as pela facilidade com que as visto e combino - basicamente tudo!)

After the day I bought them these biker boots shemselves with a nice coat of black shoe polish! Now they are black! As biker boots should be!
(I'm not in love with them but I love the ease I can pair them! - basically everything!)

Já tinha visto umas parecidas com estas aqui em Amesterdão mas o preço tinha 3 dígitos e eu afastei-me logo delas! =(

11€ e eu não podia estar mais feliz com a Primark!:D

I had seen some similar to those here in Amsterdam but the price had 3 digits and I, obv, stepped away from them! = (
As you can imagine, for 11€  I couldn't be happier with Primark : D

Ainda antes de ir para férias em Portugal, comecei a ver alguns episódios na MTV holandesa de um programa chamado "Plain Jane". Surpresa das surpresas, não só a programação do TLC é igual nos dois países como a da MTV também não muda muito - Estou a kms de distância mas a ver exactamente o mesmo!;)

Voltando ao que interessa, já viram algum episódido de Plain Jane? Basicamente são meninas/raparigas/moças (:p) muito tímidas, normalmente com pouca auto-estima ou confiança em si próprias mas tem uma paixoneta por algum rapaz e pedem ajuda. E aqui entra o que vos queria falar, quem vai ajudar estas Plain Janes é a fashionista Louise Roe!

Ao que parece a moça que é drop dead gorgeouse, participou na série The City (alguém se lembra de a ver?-eu não vi a série toda) e tem um olho excelente para moda!:D

 Me all over it!

Even before going on holiday to Portugal, I started to see some episodes on the dutch MTV a program called "Plain Jane". Surprise of surprises, not only the programming of the TLC in both countries is the same as MTV does not change much - I'm miles away but seeing exactly the same!;)

Returning to the point, have you ever seen an episode from Plain Jane? Basically some girls very shy, usually with low self-esteem or confidence in themselves but have a crush on some guy ask for help. And here comes what I wanted to talk, who will help these Plain Janes is the fashionista Louise Roe!

Apparently the girl who is drop dead gorgeous has also participated in the series the City (anyone remember seeing her?-I haven't seen the whole series) has an excellent eye for fashion : D

Amsterdam - new beginnings

Alô! Já vos falo de Amesterdão!

Chegamos ontem, a viagem correu bem e desta vez a mala chegou com as 4 rodas (not bad!), cheia de cereais do continente, bolachinhas e tanto mas tanto chá que quase o posso ir vender!:D

Desta vez custou (bastante!)  deixar tudo (friends, family and stuff ;P) para trás, mas quando é um futuro melhor que está em jogo é preciso respirar 3 vezes mandar fechar a torneira dos olhos e entrar em estado zen para que as decisões sejam as melhores!

A ver se o meu 2012 não tem nada a ver com o fim de 2011!

 

Hello! I'm speaking from Amsterdam right now!


We arrived yesterday, the trip went well and this time my bag arrived with it's 4 wheels (not bad!), full of cereals, cookies and soooooo much tea I can almost go sell it in the market! : D
This time leaving everything (friends, family and stuff ;P) behind was hard, but when a better future is at stake you need to take a deep breath, close your eyes and enter a zen mood so that the decisions are the best ones!
Let's see if my 2012 has nothing to do with the end of 2011!

Red Hair

Ora bem minha gente, tenho andado a correr de um lado para o outro porque não tarda nada estou de volta a Amesterdão! Isso faz com que eu ainda não tenha fotos do meu cabelo à luz do sol... deixo-vos aqui estas duas mas tem de imaginar o tom das raizes da 1º foto no resto do cabelo, a segunda foto está bastante longe da realidade :S

Well my dears, I've been crasy and haven't stop in these last few days... I'm soon returning to Amsterdam so it means no time to take photos of my new hair with sun light! Try to imagine the color that is on the roots of the 1st photo in the rest of the hair; the 2nd photo is actually far from reallity.

Quase todas nós tivemos ou temos uma amiga que achamos que é para lá de gira. Que é mesmo mesmo bonita e que aqueles genes foram tão bem distribuidos que nos dá vontade de ir ter com os pais dela e pedir um bocadinho daqueles genes emprestados!Como sempre fui bolinha em criança as minhas amigas eram sempre mega giras (e são!!!! ;P) mas quando fui para erasmus conheci uma que me fez pensar o desperdicio que era aquela rapariga estar em Finanças e não na capa de uma Vogue!

Almost all of us had or have a friend who we think is beyond cute, that she is really really pretty and that those genes were so well distributed that makes you want to go to her parents and ask for a little bit of those genes borrowed! As a child I have allways been kind of chuby so my friends were always beautiful for me! but when I went to erasmus I met one that made ​​me think what a waste that girl was in finance and not on the cover of some issue of Vogue!

 O tempo foi passando (nem acredito que já passaram 2 anos!) mas sempre me mantive em contacto com a Magda que com o seu olho para a moda e compras (ela e a grande amiga Gosia (também giiira, raio das polacas!)) me conseguiu pôr a vêr Gossip Girl e fez com que o bichinho da moda voltasse!... Hoje falamos pelo menos 2 vezes por ano e desta última, em vez de me escrever da Polónia, a rapariga estava na China!  E porquê na China? Porque agora é modelo!!!

Time passed (cannot believe two years have passed!) but I always kept in touch with Magda who, with her eye for fashion and shopping (she and good friend Gosia (also cuuuute, damn the Polish!)) I managed to get to see Gossip Girl and made me rediscover my fashion thing once again! ... Today we talk at least 2 times per year and on the last one, instead of writing to me from Poland, the girl was in China!

And why in China? Because now she is a model!!!!

New year, new look, new hair!...

Só para avisar que mesmo assim antes do ano acabar passei pela minha cabeleireira mostrei-lhe a Jane:

Just so you know, a couple of "minutes" before this new year (full of hope and blablabla) I stoped by my hardresser and showed her Jane:

 e disse-lhe: quero ficar ruiva!

and told her: I wanna be red! x)

 

O meu 2012 começou em modo cenourinha por uma razão muito simples: Quando era miúda  era uma pequena sábia e dizia que queria ser 3 coisas:

1. Vegetariana - mesmo quando o único legume que gostava era alface -.-'

2. Ruiva! - porque é terrivelmente giro, nem toda a gente tem e realça (like crazy!) os olhos verdes

3. Estilista - não consigo negar que vibro com todas as fases da criação de uma roupa e de uma colecção.
Já sendo vegetariana, e tendo decidido dar uma chance a sério ao número 3, achei que faltava mudar o cabelo para a loucura ser completa e quem sabe (and God hopes) bem sucedida!

Por mais que não seja, mudar um digito ao escrever a data trás esperança sabe-se lá porquê!

My 2012 started as my as a little carrot for a very simple reason: when I was a kid I was really wise and I used to say I wanted to be 3 things:
1. Vegetarian - when the only vegetable I liked was lettuce -.-'
2. Readhead! -  because it's terribly cute, not everyone has it and highlights  green eyes (like crazy!)
3. Fashion designer - I can't deny my joy and excitment with all phases of creating an outfit and a collection.
Being already a vegetarian, and having decided to give a seriously try to number 3, I thought the change of the hair completed the madness and who knows (and God hopes) successfully!


 Because changing a digit when writing the date brings people hope, god knows why!
